Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is an American rapper. He rose to fame with the release of his albums Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2003) and The Massacre (2005). Both albums achieved multi-platinum success, selling over twenty-one million copies combined.Born in South Jamaica, Queens, 50 Cent began drug dealing at the age of twelve during the 1980s crack epidemic. Akon, whose real name is Aliaune Akon Thiam, is a Senegalese. His father was famous percussionist and jazz musician Mor Thiam who specialized on playing Djembe, and authentic African drum. His band and he came to the US from Africa to perform in different clubs.So who is Akon?To understand it, it would be quite obvious to learn about his roots, his origin.His father who often visited the States became familiar with the country and its legislation.
